umm, I just found out that the chat function is gone...
Why?

For a start, I moved your post because the question should be in "Knowledge Base".

Now, Here's the answer:
Even the admin control panel doesn't show the function. Then, when I browsed a support forum, I found that other users (non-mc) were in a very same trouble. The engineers said that they would fix this bug. So, I'd like you to wait.

its kinda disturbing that every time you get in the last user is still seen there ... so you never know if theres someone there ...
