As Yogi get closer to the sound, he felt that the voices suddenly disappeared in a moment. then something fast passed his face and stabbed the wall beside him.
"What was that?" Yogi said.
"Doctor? Glad you're safe." said Neo, transforming back to his human form.
"Neo? For a second I thought I would've died. Don't be too glad, I got some creatures following me.... Where is Codey?" he asked.

"Codey... Well..." Neo took Kuro off Yogiʻs shoulders. "You better check on her. This is the first time she used the Soul Binding on something before. We have practiced but have not attempted to perform the technique.
Neo led Yogi to where his partner was.
Even in the darkness, it can be seen that Codey was exhausted.
"Oh.. Neo. You found them. Thatʻs great," Codey was sitting on the ground. "I think I outdone myself doc."

"Looks like I got some use in the end." Yogi said as he examined Codey.
"Hmm, the exhaustion come from the overuse of concentration, if you relax your body a bit and... *clack* There you go, it should be better." he said that as he massaged some of Codey's body part.
They heard sound of footsteps is coming closer to them.
"Ah, I almost forgot about them... can you take care of them? You better don't use your Soul Binding Technique for awhile, they're not that hard to beat. They're just illusions, besides using that ability too often might hurt your body. The Madougu Reperio's ability is to create illusion from the detection senses. When we light the place with your flashlight, the light is detected by the madougu and it created an illusion to distract vision. The same happens when it detect our sounds, he create illusion from the sound to attack our hearing senses. However, this madougu influence become more and more stronger as we got closer to it, so i's real ability must be..." He stopped middle sentence as now he could saw the creatures silhouette in the dark...
"...turning those illusions into reality." He continued.

Codey got up to her feet. "Thanks doc. It helped a bit" She dusted herself off let her hand out and called Neo. "Neo."
Neo transformed back into his weapon form.
"So what we need to do is have us fix up our senses? How are we going to do that? If they are illusions? Why do they hurt when I can feel them pushing me down? Is that my sense of touch being made into an illusion too?"
Codey could feel as though the illusions were surrounding her. She cut them up little by little till it seemed like there wasn't anyone around.
"I guess the best thing for us to do is continue finding the stairs to lead us to the top and ignore the illusions. But if it gets worse then we should fight them. The more the stronger they look and more real they seem, we need to fight them off. But let's go for now," Codey said when she made her plan.
The four of them ran up to see the next set of stairs leading up. The could hear voices coming from up above and see two large dark silhouettes ahead.
"Is the other doctor awake yet?" Codey asked. But it seemed like Kuro was still passed out. Yogi placed Kuro on the ground and Codey grabbed her first and performed a sternum rub. (which really does hurt)

"AAGH, UGH, UAKH!" Kuro screamed as Codey did her sternum rub.
"That's gotta be hurt..." Yogi thought.
"Is this heaven?" Kuro said.
"No, this is an urgent situation, we got some trouble to take care." Yogi answered calmly.
Without saying anything more, Kuro transformed into his weapon form.
Yogi shot a bullet which penetrated the silhouette.
"These two is different... the reality level is almost maximum, looks like we're almost nearby the Madougu. I could bet that we will meet something real in the next room, prepare yourself for a battle Codey." He said as he calmly shot the other silhouette.
Both of the silhouette didn't disappear immediately like the illusions, instead, it seemed like it felt pain before it dispersed into the air. After that, Yogi gives Codey the "keep silent" gesture because any sound might trigger the illusions to appear.
They stopped in front of an old door in top of the tower as they could feel the presence of the Madougu behind the door. Yogi turned to Codey and nodded.

Codey prepared herself. Three daggers were held on her right hand. Two man made and one of them was Neo. She was glad that her weapons did not produce a loud noise like a gun.
As they walked towards the door, Codey could see souls surrounding a large soul which was most likely the Madougu.
Yogi slowly opened the old door but as they opened the door a long high pitched noise was produced. There was a reason why it was old.
"It's a trap!" Neo exclaimed.
In front of everyone was a large group of figures that looked very real.
"I don't think these things are fake anymore!" Codey threw her daggers on the foreheads of a few figures. They fell in pain and slowly faded. While they were fading they ran up to Codey and Yogi and tried to run them over before they disappeared. Codey and Yogi evaded the attack.

"HOW DARE YOU STEPPED INTO MY THRONE ROOM!" said someone who was in the center of the middle. He was sitting in a wooden chair which seems like it's almost broken.
As he said hat, the the place became bright with fire torches
"Khhh, looks like the Madougu Keeper think he's a King, and the Madougu is making his illusions come true!" Yogi said.
The dark room suddenly become a golden throne room with guardsmen surrounding the.In the throne itself sat someone who were crowned.
"You have trespasses my kingdom and killed my guards to kill me, your punishment is death!" the king said.
"Things doesn't seems good Codey, any plans?" Yogi asked.
"Can we destroy the Madougu?" Kuro suddenly asked.
"Don't think so, the Madougus aren't made to be destroyed." Yogi answered as he dodged the attacks from the guards.
"Then kill the king." Kuro said.
"Easier said than done." Yogi said when he saw his bullet for the king was deflected by one of the guard's shield.
"Looks like we won't run out of guards." Kuro said as he sees a guard appeared from the air.

The guardsman wore steel helmets so Codey could not provide a great headshot like last time. Codey tried to do a quick recon of the whole place.
"This is gonna be a risk but I guess I gotta do it," Codey said.
"DON'T DO IT CODEY!!!! You're gonna be hurting yourself!" Neo yelled out loud.
Codey could detect all the souls around. She knew there was a limit to the amount of souls around.
"There will be a limit to the guards. We have to do something quick though. We have to be fast enough for him to not think about creating another thing or for him to think happy thoughts," Codey told Yogi.
"Could we persuade him to think that we are a part of his imaginations?" Yogi asked.
"Or we can try to get as close to him as possible," Neo told Codey.
"Let's try it," Codey threw Neo towards the king but was reflected by the guard's shield. Neo transformed back to his human form and quickly ran off towards the king.
"DON'T LET HIM COME TO ME!!!" The king yelled out his order. Five more guards appeared. Neo circled around the king and ran back to Codey.
"Why did he come back?" Yogi was so confused.
"That's all the souls that have been formed. I don't think there will be anymore that will appear," Codey said, "All we have to do is try and go against these guards and get the king."

"Quite good for a deal to me." Yogi said, he then shoot the guards between their armors, disabling some of the guards.
As they defeat the guards one by one, the King become angrier and angrier. Suddenly, the disabled guards turns back into soul and fused into one big soul. It then turn into a big moving armor.
"This is really bad......." Yogi said while continue shooting the guards.
He tried to shoot the gap between the big armor but his bullets went through justlike there's nothing inside it.
"Damnit,kill the King first!" Yogi said, but the big armor rushed to protect the king.
The other dead guard's souls also fused to make another big armor.
"Looks like they changed their tactic into 2vs2...." He said.

"This is getting riskier and riskier!" Codey observed her surroundings again. She noticed that the floor was getting old and was falling apart.
Codey focused her energy and struck the ground using Neo. The floor shook a bit. As the two large armored soldiers walked closer, the floor cracked more and more.
"Almost there..." Codey struck the floor once more using Neo. Floor shook one last time and when the two large armored soldiers took another step, they fell down and crashed to the first floor.
"The bigger they are the larger they fall..."
The souls of the armored soldiers scattered and was released.
Codey threw Neo to the king and struck the thrown. Neo transformed back into a human and stood behind the king.
"It's over," Neo said.
